RECIPE: PINCHOS MORUNOS
1 KG Chicken Breast
1 tablespoon of turmeric
1 tablespoon of cumin
1 tablespoon of black pepper
1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of thyme
2 tablespoons of honey
Extra virgin olive oil
PREPARATION OF THE RECIPE: PINCHOS MORUNOS
First cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Then slide the pieces onto skewers.
Now, in a bowl, add all of the spices and honey along with a bit of olive oil. Mix well until it makes a paste.
Without hurting yourself on the ends of the skewers cover the chicken pieces with the marinade paste fully on each piece of chicken. Let the chicken rest to marinate.
For best results allow the chicken to marinate overnight.
On your plancha or grill pan on high heat, add a bit of oil and then place the skewers down to cook. The temperature must be quite high to produce a nice sear on the chicken while allowing the inside of the chicken to remain juicy.
Once all the chicken is cooked through, take the skewers off the heat and serve.
